Wildlife District One (Central Ohio)

1. Hebron Fish Hatchery
Directions: From Hebron, follow Canal Road 2 miles south to the hatchery entrance.

2. Blacklick Woods Metro Park
Directions: From Columbus, take Interstate 70 east to State Route 256. Turn north on State Route 256 and go 1 mile to Livingston Avenue. Turn west on Livingston Avenue and go 0.75 mile to the park entrance located on the south side of the road, past the golf course.

3. Pickerington Ponds Wetland Wildlife Refuge
Directions: From Columbus, take U.S. Route 33 east toward Lancaster approximately 6 miles to Bowen Road. Turn north. The Bowen Road observation area is on the right at 2.4 miles.

4. Walden Waterfowl Refuge
Directions: From Columbus, follow State Route 161 east 1.5 miles from Interstate 270. The park entrance is on the south side of the road.

5. Stage's Pond State Nature Preserve
Directions: From Circleville, follow U.S. Route 23 approximately 5 miles north to Haggerty Road, then 1.5 miles east to the entrance.

6. Deer Creek Wildlife Area
Directions: From Mount Sterling, follow State Route 207 approximately 3 miles south.

7. London Fish Hatchery
Directions: From State Route 40 northwest of London, follow Roberts Mill Road S.W. approximately 2.5 miles south.

8. Delaware Wildlife Area
Directions: From Delaware, follow U.S. Route 23 approximately 10 miles north to State Route 229. Turn east on State Route 229 and follow it just over 3 miles to Horseshoe Road, then south approximately 0.25 mile to the area headquarters.

9. Big Island Wildlife Area
Directions: From Marion, follow State Route 95 approximately 5 miles west.

10. Indian Lake State Park
Directions: Located along U.S. Route 33, 10 miles northwest of Bellefontaine.
