GRAND RIVER, OH - The “Northcoast Limbhangers” chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF), the Grand River Marine Charter Group and the Lake County Visitors Bureau will host another “Women in the Outdoors” (WITO) fishing event on August 16, 2008 at the Grand River Marina in Lake County.

“Our program is about encouraging women to try new outdoor activities in a safe environment that makes them feel at ease,” said Renee O’Brokta, Ohio’s WITO program coordinator. “This event is also a chance for women of all walks of life – singles, moms, daughters, young and old – to spend a Saturday outdoors, away from home, hanging out and having fun.”

WITO uses expert instructors to teach outdoor skills using a hands-on approach.  The reasonable $85.00 registration fee includes a half day perch fishing charter on Lake Erie, a choice of two fishing-related courses (from a selection of 10), use of fishing equipment, breakfast and lunch, fish cleaning, a one-year subscription to WITO magazine, and a one-year membership to the NWTF.

Don’t miss it! To register for this event, contact Ausra Kaminskas at 440-668-4568 or email to erieperch@yahoo.com. For more information visit the “Women in the Outdoors” web site at www.womenintheoutdoors.org
