Troy Fish & Game Club offers Turkey Workshop Saturday, March 29th
TROY, OH - The Troy Fish & Game Club in conjunction with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Wildlife is hosting a Turkey Hunting and Harvest workshop, on Saturday, March 29, 2008 from 9am to 3pm.
The public is invited to spend the day learning more about one of Ohio’s most popular and exciting game birds. This workshop will cover topics from hunting techniques and strategies to preparing the bird for the dinner table. Presentations include turkey calling and hunting, field dressing and deep frying, and shotgun patterning. Division of Wildlife staff will be on hand to discuss turkey hunting safety and current laws and regulations.
