The number of boats registered in Ohio is included here. Registrations are listed according to the county of boat owner's residence, with out-of-state owners listed in their own group. Since boat registrations can be written throughout the calendar year, we don't have final numbers until January for the previous year.

US Coast Guard "Report of Certificates of Number" for Ohio
This report separates boat registrations by type and length of boat and includes all currently registered boats in Ohio as well as documented vessel and Alternative Registration totals for the state. It is submitted by the Division of Watercraft to the Coast Guard in the spring.
