The Waterways Safety Council is an important advocate for boating on Ohio’s waterways. The council makes recommendations to the Chief of the Division, who serves as secretary to the council. The council meets at least four times each year to receive program updates and to advise the Chief.
The Council consists of five people appointed by the Governor who represent the manufacturing, educational, and recreational aspects of boating.
Members for 2007 were: J. Thomas Pascoe, Chairman, Sandusky; John A. (Jack) Hern, Vice Chairman, Lebanon; Jane A. Harf, Granville; Norman A. Schultz, Mentor; and Ann Swain, East Sparta. |
