The swimming beach and picnic areas at Crane Creek State Park have been closed, and management of the area has been transferred to the Division of Wildlife as part of  the Magee Marsh Wildlife Refuge.

Visit nearby Maumee Bay and East Harbor state parks for swimming, picnicking and many other recreational activities.
