Every year, the Ohio Division of Forestry conducts wildland fire training. This training is always open to personnel from State and Federal agencies and also other non-governmental interested parties.

October 19-22, 2009	This course is designed to meet the training requirements to become certified as a prescribed fire manager by the Ohio Division of Forestry. This course is designed to instruct prospective prescribed fire managers about basic fire ecology, prescribed fire planning, firing methods, smoke management, burn management, contingency planning, fire behavior predictions, and burn plan development.
