December 1-31	Lake Hope (SE)	Holiday Trail of Lights	6 to 10:30 PM at the Nature Center • Hike forest trails aglow with twinkling light displays, decorated trees and landscape lighting • Extra activities on weekends. For information call 740-596-3030.

Jan. 17	Hocking Hills (SE)	44th Annual Winter Hike	9 to 11 AM Continuous starts • Enjoy winter's splendor on this scenic 6 mile hike from Old Man's Cave to Ash Cave • Layered clothing and good footwear are recommended • Refreshments are available for a donation • Shuttle bus returns hikers to Old Man's Cave. Jan. 18	Mohican (NE)	Winter Hike	10 AM at the Camp Store • Experience winter's beauty while watching for the elusive bald eagle • Enjoy warm soup & refreshments after the hike. For information call 419-994-5125.

Feb. 7	Findley (NE)	29th Annual Buckeye Trail Winter Hike	10 AM • Experience the beauty of winter on this 5K or 10K hike through mature woodlands along scenic trails • Warm up with bean soup and cornbread after the hike. For information call 440-647-5749

Feb. 21	Caesar Creek (SW)	Winter Hike	10 AM to Noon Continuous start from the Wellman Meadows boat ramp off Oregonia Road • See the park in its wintry blanket on this 4 mile self-guided trek through meadows and valleys • Warm up with soup & refreshments after the hike. Feb. 21	Hueston Woods (SW)	Winter Hike	11 AM • Meet at the nature center and car caravan to the Big Woods for a guided hike through old growth forest. For information call 513-524-4250.
