Cottage reservations during the summer months require a minimum stay of a full week at most locations. At Maumee Bay, 3-day and 4-day rentals are also available. Minimum stays may also be required over holidays or weekends.

Reservations may be made up to one year in advance.

Bed linens and towels are provided. Dishes and cookware are also provided at all locations.

At Ohio State Park Resort locations (except Mohican) cottage guests may enjoy full use of resort lodge facilities. At Mohican, lodge amenities may be available for cottage guests for a fee.

Family Cottages, available year-round, feature private bedrooms and sleeping accommodations for 6 at most locations, bath with shower, fully equipped kitchen, furnished living and dining areas, and screened porch.

All are heated and have color TV, and many offer other amenities such as cable TV, A/C, and gas log fireplaces. The 1-bed-room family cottages at Hueston Woods sleep 4.

Preferred Cottages are recently renovated and may include extra amenities such as gas fireplaces or decks. Premium Cottages feature hot tubs and other upgrades.

Standard Cottages available spring, summer and fall (year-round at Hueston Woods), are heated and feature semi-private sleeping facilities, complete kitchen, bath with shower, and furnished living and dining areas with TV.

Forest Cottages (formerly called sleeping cabins) and Iron Furnace Cottages (formerly called standard cabins) at Lake Hope available year-round feature private bedrooms, bath with shower, kitchen, furnished living and dining areas, TV, and wood-burning fireplaces.

Historic Harding Cabin at Deer Creek offers 3 bedrooms, living room with gas fireplace, dining room, fully equipped kitchen and bath with shower. It sleeps 8, has heat and A/C, and features a private boat dock on the lake.
