COLUMBUS, OH - The Ohio Waterways Safety Council will hold its quarterly meeting from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 6, at Mohican State Park Lodge located near Loudonville in Ashland County, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Watercraft.
The five-member citizen advisory council, appointed by the governor, provides input on boating issues to the ODNR Division of Watercraft.
The meeting is open to the public. Council members will be briefed by the ODNR Division of Watercraft on the status of ongoing projects and issues impacting recreational boating in Ohio. Persons interested in attending the council meeting should contact Tammy Terry at 614-265-6476.
