COLUMBUS, OH -- A statewide conference for professionals in the field of recycling and waste reduction is scheduled for October 6-8 in Dublin, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR).
The ODNR Division of Recycling & Litter Prevention, along with several recycling and waste management organizations from across Ohio, are collaborating to present "Partners for Sustainable Development: Recycling and Waste Reduction in Ohio" at the Dublin Wyndham Hotel.
The three-day conference will include a variety of workshops, panel discussions and exhibits. In addition, the event will feature nationally-recognized speakers representing Alcan Aluminum, Abitibi, the American Plastics Council, the Glass Packaging Institute, the National Recycling Coalition and the Steel Recycling Institute.
Besides ODNR, conference presenters are the Buckeye Chapter of the Solid Waste Association of North America; the Organization of Solid Waste Districts of Ohio; the Association of Ohio Recyclers and the Ohio Association of Litter Prevention and Recycling Professionals.
