COLUMBUS, OH -- Dave Roseler, area supervisor of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Watercraft office in Sandusky, has been named to the new position of grant program coordinator.
Daves experience working with local and state government, and knowledge of the states waterways, makes him an excellent choice to help administer our grant programs, said Jeff Hoedt, chief of the ODNR Division of Watercraft.
Roseler, who will continue working out of the Sandusky office, will help administer several grant programs for the Division of Watercraft.
As area supervisor, Roseler was responsible for coordinating law enforcement, education and public relations efforts for state boating programs in the Sandusky and western Lake Erie region. He joined ODNR as a conservationist in 1972. Dave, 48, resides in Berlin Heights with his wife Karen and children Katie and Ryan.
The ODNR Division of Watercraft administers Ohio's boating program. The division oversees boat registration and titling operations, provides funding to local communities for education, enforcement and boating facilities, educates the public and enforces boating laws on Ohio's waterways. These programs are user-funded through boat registration fees and through a portion of state and federal motor fuel taxes.
