COLUMBUS, OH - While enjoying an Ohio State Park this fall and winter, visitors might consider capturing on camera the splendor of these seasons for the Ohio State Parks photo contest. Entries are being accepted through March 31, 2005, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR).
Contest categories include scenic shots of “Cool Season Beauty” and “Cold Weather Fun” photos featuring people enjoying recreational activities and park facilities. Photos will be judged in two age groups -- youth 18 years old and younger, and adults age 19 and older. Winning photographs will be featured in the Fall 2005/Winter 2006 issue of the Ohio State Parks magazine.
Some of the best opportunities to capture fun photos are during the fall and winter events hosted at Ohio State Parks, including hayrides and hikes, campouts and festivals. For a complete listing of park events, visit the ODNR website at ohiodnr.com
