News Release FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE October 13, 2000 WATERWAYS SAFETY COUNCIL TO MEET OCTOBER 26 IN COLUMBUS COLUMBUS, OH -- The Ohio Waterways Safety Council will hold its quarterly meeting October 26 at the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Watercraft headquarters, 4435 Fountain Square Drive in Columbus. The five-member citizen advisory council, appointed by the Governor, provides input to the Division of Watercraft on boating-related issues. The meeting, open to the public, will begin at 9 a.m. During the meeting, the council will be briefed by state watercraft officials on the status of ongoing programs and issues impacting Ohio boating.
