NEW MANAGEMENT COMPANY CHOSEN TO OPERATE
DEER CREEK RESORT & CONFERENCE CENTER
ARAMARK Harrison Lodging also manages resort facilities at national parks
COLUMBUS, OH - Ohio State Parks has chosen ARAMARK Harrison Lodging as the new management company to operate the Deer Creek Resort & Conference Center in Mt. Sterling, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. ARAMARK, which today was awarded the eight-year contract, replaces operator Delaware North Park Services.

ARAMARK Harrison Lodging, a division of ARAMARK Corporation in Philadelphia, provides a wide range of professional services, including meeting and recreational support services to conference and corporate training centers, specialty hotels, national and state parks, resorts and other tourist destinations throughout the United States.
ARAMARK operates facilities across the country for the National Park Service and the U.S. Forest Service, including Lake Powell Resorts & Marina at Glen Canyon National Recreation Area in Page, Arizona; Lake Quinault Lodge at Lake Quinault, Washington in Olympic National Forest; and Denali Park Resorts at Denali National Park and Preserve in Anchorage, Alaska.
Located within Deer Creek State Park in Pickaway and Fayette counties, Deer Creek Resort & Conference Center offers guests a wide array of meeting and recreational services and lodging amenities. Accommodations include poolside rooms at the lodge and cozy woodland cottages near the park’s scenic 1,277-acre reservoir.
The Conference Center offers 10 meeting rooms with more than 12,000 square feet of meeting space, wireless Internet access, an executive boardroom, a fully equipped business center and state-of-the-art onsite audiovisual support staff.
Situated on 2,300 acres of land, Deer Creek also features an 18-hole championship golf course, as well as a wide range of recreational activities including fishing, swimming pools and a swimming beach, full-service camping, boating and biking, basketball courts, and a full fitness center and sauna.
