As temperatures warm, the rolling fairways of state park golf courses are coming to life. Attractive golf packages are offered this spring through fall at several state park resort lodges, making a golf getaway a tempting treat.
State park golf courses include: Deer Creek in Fayette and Pickaway counties; Hueston Woods in Preble County; Maumee Bay in Lucas County; Punderson in Geauga County, Salt Fork in Guernsey County and Shawnee in Scioto County.

This year the following state park resort lodges are offering golf packages: Maumee Bay’s golf package (valid May 1 through October 31) features two nights of lodging, two breakfasts per person, two dinners per person, 36 holes of golf and cart rental per person, and gratuities. Rates start at $240 plus tax.
Hueston Woods’s golf package (valid May 1 through October 31) features two nights of lodging, two breakfasts for two, two dinners for two, 36 holes of golf and cart rental for two, and gratuities. Rates start at $239 plus tax.
Shawnee’s golf package (valid May 1 through October 31) features two nights of lodging, two breakfasts per person, two dinners per person, 36 holes of golf and cart rental per person, and gratuities. Rates start at $227 plus tax.
Deer Creek’s various golf packages are offered now through November 20. Packages include unlimited golf plus a cart, or one round of golf, a cart and golf balls. Rates start at $149 plus tax.
Punderson is offering a spring golf getaway Sunday through Thursday, April through June 10. Packages feature a one-night say, 18 holes of golf and a cart for $79 per person plus tax.
