COLUMBUS, OH - Find fun family activities for all ages in Ohio State Parks this Easter season. Egg hunts and special campouts are being offered throughout the state, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR).
Join the fun by searching for colorful Easter eggs at the following hunts and upcoming weekend camping events:
Quail Hollow State Park (Stark County): Easter egg hunt from 1 to 3 p.m., Sunday, April 4. Co-sponsored by the Lake Township Chamber of Commerce. Children will be divided into three age groups up to age 12. Prize-filled eggs will be hidden about the lawn of the Manor House. For more information, call 330-877-6652.
Hueston Woods State Park (Butler/Preble counties): Easter egg hunt from noon to 2 p.m., Saturday, April 10, at the Class A campground shelter. Children will be divided into three age groups, from toddlers to 12 years old. For more information, call 513-523-6347.
Sycamore State Park (Montgomery County): Easter egg hunt from 2 to 3:30 p.m., Saturday, April 10, at the Overlook picnic area. Children up to 12 years old may join in for fun and prizes. The event is co-sponsored by the Perry Township Police Department. For more information, call 513-523-6347.
Rocky Fork State Park (Highland County): Friday-Sunday, April 9-11. Campers can hop on over to the campground for an Easter egg hunt for children 12 and under and lots of other fun activities. Regular camping fees apply. For more information, call 937-393-4284.
Dillon State Park (Muskingum County): Saturday, April 10. Come enjoy Easter crafts, games and an Easter egg hunt geared for children under age 10, including non-campers. Regular camping fees apply. For more information, call 740-453-4377.
