LONDON RESIDENT NAMED ASSISTANT LEGISLATIVE LIAISON OF
OHIO DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES

COLUMBUS, OH - London resident Christopher George has been named assistant legislative liaison for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR). He will help coordinate communications between the department and members of the Ohio General Assembly. He replaces Rusty Orben who left for a position with the US Department of Transportation.

Prior to joining ODNR, he served as a legislative aide to Ohio State Senator James E. Carnes. George received his bachelor's degree in history and political science from Otterbein College.

He and his wife, Amy, and children James and Sarah reside in London.

ODNR, one of the largest and most diverse agencies in state government, is responsible for the preservation, management and wise utilization of the state's natural resources. ODNR's operating divisions include: Civilian Conservation Corps, Engineering, Forestry, Geological Survey, Mineral Resources Management, Natural Areas & Preserves, Parks & Recreation, Real Estate & Land Management, Recycling & Litter Prevention, Soil & Water Conservation, Water, Watercraft and Wildlife.
