PUNDERSON STATE PARK GOLF COURSE REOPENS
FOLLOWING $1.7 MILLION IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
Special greens fee and cart rental discounts offered during July

COLUMBUS, OH -- Punderson State Park's 18-hole championship-rated golf course, closed since fall for $1.7 million in upgrades and renovations, will reopen Saturday, June 29.

As part of a July reopening celebration, golfers will receive special discounted rates of $11 for 9 holes without cart; $16 for 9 holes with cart rental; $21 for 18 holes without cart; $28 for 18 holes with cart rental.

The traditionally challenging 18-hole course closed in September while workers installed new irrigation and drainage systems to ensure efficient watering and extend playing time during periods of wet weather. Other improvements included construction of new restrooms and drinking fountains on the course and renovated lightening shelters and asphalt cart paths. The project also included shoreline improvements and dredging of several ponds on the course.

Greens are manicured and ready for play. However, golfers are required to use cart paths until the new grass fills in throughout the course.

For tee-time reservations or additional information, golfers are urged to call the course pro shop at 440-564-5465. For golf packages that include lodging, visitors should call the Punderson Manor at 440-564-9144.
