COLUMBUS,OH -- The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Wildlife has announced the completion of a new boat ramp facility on Nettle Lake, near Montpelier in Williams County.
Located on the west side of the lake, the new addition will provide fishermen free public access to the 95-acre body of water.
Managed by the Division of Wildlife, Nettle Lake offers good numbers of 10 to 23-inch largemouth bass, 6 to 13-inch crappie and 14 to 24-inch channel catfish. Fair numbers of 6 to 7-inch bluegill are also available.
Although boaters are not restricted by motor horsepower limits, a daily no-wake rule is in effect from 6 p.m. to 10 a.m. on Nettle Lake.
