Pataskala Resident Receives Employee Of The Year Honors From ODNR Division of Watercraft
COLUMBUS, OH – Mariah Kanode of Pataskala was recently named the 2007 Administrator of the Year by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Watercraft.
Kanode is a watercraft registration agent coordinator in the division’s Columbus headquarters. She was recognized for her outstanding service to Ohio boaters as well as her ODNR co-workers statewide.
She is a graduate of Muskingum College where she earned a bachelor’s degree in conservation science. She first joined the agency in 2004.
The ODNR Division of Watercraft administers Ohio’s recreational boating programs, including watercraft registration and titling services, and provides grants to local communities for enforcement, education and boating access facilities. Division programs are funded by a share of the state motor fuels tax, boating registration and titling fees and a grant from the U.S. Coast Guard.
