COLUMBUS, OH -- Mercer County resident Owen Hall has been reappointed to the Ohio Parks & Recreation Advisory Council by Governor Bob Taft. Hall's new term runs to January 31, 2005, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR).
An auctioneer and the owner of Owen V. Hall Realtors in Celina, he was first appointed to the Ohio Parks & Recreation Advisory Council in 1995.
Hall is active in a variety of local, state and national realtor associations, as well as civic and social organizations in Mercer County. He is currently the director of the Grand Lake St. Marys Development Corporation.
The seven members of the Ohio Parks & Recreation Advisory Council provide citizen and constituent input on policies and operations of Ohio State Parks. The chief of Ohio State Parks serves as the council's secretary.
