09/25/07 - Annual Sale of Ohio Conservation Seedlings Underway

The Division of Forestry is now accepting orders for more than 40 varieties of seedlings for delivery next spring. The seedlings, available in groups of 100, are 1 to 3 years old and bare rooted. A minimum order of 100 seedlings is required.

Hunters are preparing for Ohio’s upcoming fall wild turkey season which runs Saturday, October 13 through Sunday, October 28. The wildlife division estimates Ohio’s statewide wild turkey flock now numbers more than 180,000 birds.
