As part of its celebration of Earth Science Week 2000, the Ohio Division of Geological Survey and the Ohio Section of the American Institute of Professional Geologists co-sponsored three one-hour walking tours to explore the rocks used for building stones in three Ohio cities. The field trips were based on the series of guidebooks (GB 5, GB 6, GB 7) published in the early 1990's by the Survey. The descriptive brochures for the three trips are presented below in PDF format.
