Sweetgum - Lyquidambar styraciflua
Toledo Planted: 1964
307 Manhattan Site: 14' Tree Lawn

1971 Comments:
These trees are located in the center of a very wide tree lawn and will not cause any interference with pedestrian or vehicular traffic. They appear to be an excellent choice for the area.

1997 Comments:
The tree lawn width is 14' which is quite generous. In this situation, there is no sidewalk disruption from the original trees. Overall, the effect is attractive.

Eighty-five percent of the overall planting survived (40 of 47 trees).
1997 data on the table are based on four trees.
