In 1999, ODNR and Ohio EPA combined efforts to develop wetland mitigation and restoration strategies. The goal of the project was to develop a plan that identified priority areas throughout Ohio for the development of wetland mitigation and restoration projects and identified high quality wetland areas statewide.

Wetland restoration maps for the eight coastal counties along Lake Erie;
