Autumn Colors Open House
October 11-12, noon to 5 p.m.
Enjoy the colors of autumn at Clifton Gorge State Nature Preserve. The beauty of an Ohio state scenic river, the Little Miami, combined with the spectacular gorge will delight any nature enthusiast. Preserve officers will be on hand to answer questions and share historical tales from the area. For more details, contact (937) 767-7947.
Located on State Route 343, .25 mile west of Clifton at the east end of John Bryan State Park.
Fall Foliage Festival
October 18-19, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Conkle’s Hollow is a great place to enjoy the splendor of an Ohio autumn. Choose the accessibility of the Lower Gorge trail or the more challenging Upper Rim Trail. This event features a pioneer encampment and uniformed naturalists along the trails.
