General Camping Information

Rates are discounted $1 Sunday-Thursday. There is an additional $1 per night for holidays.

Winter camping fees are $2/night less than regular camping fees listed.

Pet camping with dogs or cats is permitted on designated sites with a miximum of 2 pets. Pets must be on leash at all times. Parks do not provide horses for horsemen's camping.

Maximum occupancy is 6 persons per campsite. At South Bass Island, an additional fee of $5/night is charged per additional adult if more than 2 adults occupy the site.

Dump stations are free of charge to registered campers. Non-campers may use dump stations for a fee of $10.

Full-service sites offer electrical, sewer and water hookups.

Premium campsites are in waterfront locations or offer special amenities such as wooden decks at Paint Creek and pull-through pads at East Harbor. Premium non-electric campsites at Mohican are secluded walk-in tent sites close to modern campground amenities. Premium non-electric at Mary Jane Thurston have water hookups.

Organized Group Camp Areas - Group camps are available by reservation, most are non-electric with very few amenities. Contact the park. Winter discounts are offered.
