General Camping Information

Rates are discounted $1 Sunday-Thursday • There is an additional $1 per night for holidays

Winter camping fees are $2/night less than regular camping fees listed

Pet camping with dogs or cats is permitted on designated sites with a miximum of 2 pets • Pets must be on leash at all times • Parks do not provide horses for equestrian camping

Maximum occupancy is 6 persons per campsite • South Bass Island charges an additional fee of $5/night per additional adult if more than 2 adults occupy the site

Dump stations are free of charge to registered campers • Non-campers may use dump stations for a fee of $10

Full-service sites offer electrical, sewer and water hookups

Premium campsites are in waterfront locations or offer special amenities such as wooden decks at Paint Creek and pull-through pads at East Harbor • Premium non-electric campsites at Mohican are secluded walk-in tent sites close to modern campground amenities • Premium non-electric sites at Mary Jane Thurston have water hookups

Organized Group Camp Areas are available by reservation, most are non-electric with very few amenities • Contact the park • Winter discounts are offered
