Public Meeting Notes

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Office of Coastal Management sponsored the first meeting to solicit input on proposed Ohio Administrative Code rules for managing construction and improvements along the shore on Thursday September 4, 2008. The meeting was held from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge, 14000 State Route 2, Oak Harbor (Ottawa County). Citizens with an interest in the future of the Lake Erie coast and how shoreline construction projects are handled were encouraged to ask questions and express their opinions about the draft rules.
