Wonders of Watershed Teacher Workshop
June 12-14 and 17-18, 2013
Locations are throughout Geauga and Portage counties.
This 5-day workshop provides training and experiences including water quality and watershed investigations, nature hikes, fen and forest explorations and more!
Participants will receive curriculum guides from Project WILD, Aquatic WILD, Science and Civics, Project Learning Tree and Project WET.
Cost: $85 1-3 graduate credits available from Ashland University.

Advanced Wonders of Watersheds Teacher Workshop
June 24-26, 2013
This workshop requires prior attendance at the Wonders of Watersheds Workshop on June 12-18, 2013.
This workshop is designed to give teachers and educators and in-depth look at the natural resources in the Great Lakes region.
Participants will visit Cleveland Lakefront State Park, a Peregrine falcon nest site, stay overnight and attend sessions at the Old Woman Creek National Estuarine Reserve, and visit the Back to the Wild nature center and the Great Lakes Science Center. Participants will receive curriculum guides from Flying WILD, Wonders of Wetlands, and Healthy Water, Healthy People.
Enrollment is limited to 10. Cost is $275 and includes materials, meals, lodging and transportation. 1-3 graduate credits available from Ashland University.
