We Got Plans for Your Bottles And Cans

A recycling campaign has been launched in Ohio that encourages soft drink consumers to recycle.  A new “We Got Plans for Your Bottles And Cans” campaign represents a partnership between the Ohio Department of Natural Resources and the National Soft Drink Association.

Currently more than half of the 95 billion soft drink containers produced each year in the United States are not being recycled.  To help close this gap and promote recycling, the division and NSDA will sponsor billboard advertisements that feature consumer products made from recycled bottles and cans. Radio public service announcements also promoting the recycling message will play over Ohio’s airwaves in three different listening formats.
