Akron, OH – Jason Keller, 23, of Painesville, Ohio was recently assigned as the new Lake County wildlife officer, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Wildlife. “I am confident that Jason will serve the citizens of Lake County well on all wildlife-related programs, while enforcing fish and wildlife regulations to help conserve our wildlife resources,” said Doug Miller, law enforcement supervisor for Division of Wildlife in northeast Ohio.
Keller is a 2005 graduate of New Bremen High School in Auglaize County. In 2007, he received an Associate’s Degree in wildlife management from Hocking College. Before becoming a wildlife officer, Keller worked for two seasons at the Division of Wildlife’s Mercer Waterfowl Refuge.
