XENIA, OH – The Miami County chapter of Pheasants Forever along with the, Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Wildlife will hold the sixth annual John D. Stull Memorial Youth-Mentor pheasant hunt on February  7, 2009.   The hunt will take place from 9:00am – 4pm on the Stull Preserve, 7670 E. Widener Rd., New Carlisle, Ohio 45344. Participants will have a fun-filled day of hunter education, sporting clays, and bird hunting. After the hunt, the youth will have the opportunity to take part in a demonstration on field dressing and preparing their harvest.

The deer-gun season remains open through Sunday, December 7, and then reopens for two days on Saturday and Sunday, December 20-21.
