 2010 CEA Mapping
Initial Public Meetings
ODNR held public hearings in each of Ohio's eight coastal counties to introduce the preliminary 2010 coastal erosion area maps.
Additional information about the Coastal Erosion Area program, including the mapping process and permitting requirements, was presented at each public session.
Property owners, including individual landowners and affected jurisdictions, were allowed to file objections to the preliminary designation at the hearings.

On June 2, 2010, ODNR released a series of preliminary coastal erosion area maps and data tables addressing an area of east Sandusky Bay that lies between the City of Sandusky to the west and Sheldon Marsh to the east. This five-mile area, was erroneously omitted from the preliminary identification maps of coastal erosion areas that were released to the general public on January 4, 2010.
